N° T02353 - Chippings 6-8 mm

Terrazzo ready-mix for a jointless terrazzo that is laid and ground in on site. The quantity in a bucket is 25 kilograms and is designed for an area of approx. 1 square metre with a layer thickness of 1 cm. The contents of the bucket with the terrazzo mixture are mixed with water on site. Genuine lime-bonded terrazzo without plastic additives, completely recyclable.

A sample can be ordered for colour matching. The colour of the sample may differ slightly from the installed terrazzo due to natural variations. Terrazzo samples therefore serve as a guide and not as a reference. You can order samples here here.

Further information on processing can be found here.

Carrara marble is a metamorphic rock consisting of crystallised limestone. It is formed through the transformation process in which calcareous sedimentary rocks are transformed into marble under high pressure and temperature. It is characterised by a light to white base colour, which is often interspersed with grey veins. These veins are caused by impurities that were embedded in the rock during the formation of the marble. Carrara marble is known for its fine-meshed, crystalline structure, which gives it a shiny surface. The marble is relatively soft compared to other rocks, which makes it easy to work with - a characteristic that has made it particularly popular for sculptures and artistic buildings.
VIA Terrazzo Besprechungsraum
VIA Terrazzo N° T02353

The VIA Terrazzo T02353 consists of a combination of the warm grey base tone with white Carrara marble chippings in a 6-8 mm grain size.
The colour intensity changes with the degree of polishing - the finer the sanding and polishing, the more intense the colour tone appears.
VIA Terrazzo Bürogebäude
The conversion of the 1950s commercial building near Stuttgart is an impressive example of contemporary design and architectural modernisation, realised by PHILIPP MAINZER OFFICE FOR ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN.
VIA Terrazzo Bürogebäude Fahrstuhl
VIA Terrazzo N° T02353 was selected for the entire building.

Thanks to the simple and practical processing of VIA Terrazzo, the material is not only suitable for floor surfaces. Special constructions can also be easily realised with the help of moulded components
Accordingly, VIA Terrazzo was also used throughout the stairwell and lift in this project.
