VIA Terrazzo tiles - single-layer with 6-8 mm Carrara chippings
The new single-layer VIA terrazzo tiles are the further development of traditional two-layer production.
Modern production technology means that the core concrete can be dispensed with - the excess water is absorbed directly in the machine.
The result is a pure terrazzo layer with a thickness of 1.3 cm:
lighter, thinner and easier to lay, with consistently high quality and genuine terrazzo.
The single-layer version is ideal for projects where a lower installation height or lower weight is required, without sacrificing the handcrafted look and robustness of classic VIA Terrazzo tiles.
The single-layer VIA Terrazzo tiles can be ideally combined with the seamless VIA Terrazzo. For example, edges or fields of terrazzo tiles can be set and the VIA Terrazzo can be grouted directly adjacent and sanded together - for a seamless, harmonious transition.
