VIA Terrazzo GROB in white - the coarse terrazzo has a coarse Carrara marble split as an aggregate. All terrazzo tiles, both single-coloured and patterned, have the same Carrara grit visible in the surface, which is why black plain terrazzo tiles are much lighter in colour with the coarse terrazzo than with the fine terrazzo. In the case of VIA Terrazzo with the finer grain size, the aggregate is always a coloured lime chippings to match the coloured cement paste.

VIA Terrazzo tiles - single-layer with 6-8 mm Carrara chippings
The new single-layer VIA terrazzo tiles are the further development of the traditional two-layer production.
Modern production technology means that the core concrete can be dispensed with
- the excess water is absorbed directly in the machine.
The result is a pure terrazzo layer with a thickness of 1.3 cm:
lighter, thinner and easier to lay, while maintaining the same high quality.
The single-layer version is ideal for projects where a lower installation height or lower weight is required, without sacrificing the handcrafted look and robustness of classic VIA terrazzo tiles.

. For example, edges or fields of
terrazzo tiles can be set and the VIA terrazzo directly adjacent to them can be grouted
and sanded together - for a seamless, harmonious
transition.
